Service
Ketamine assisted psychotherapy
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a specialized option for certain adults where it is clinically appropriate. It is not a quick fix or a standalone treatment. When offered, it combines a ketamine experience, prescribed and managed by a medical provider, with psychotherapy that prepares you beforehand and helps you integrate what comes up afterward. Availability and suitability are determined through our intake process.

Offered by Sabrina Gosmire, who is certified in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. The counseling side of KAP has three parts: preparation, a carefully supported experience, and integration. In preparation, you and your therapist build a shared understanding of your goals and what to expect. During the supported experience, your therapist helps you stay oriented. In integration, you work together to make meaning of what came up and connect it to daily life. The ketamine itself is prescribed and managed by a medical provider, not by your counselor.
How this service works
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a specialized therapeutic option for adults where it is clinically appropriate. The process includes preparation, a carefully supported experience, and integration work to help you make meaning of what comes up. A medical screening with a prescribing provider is required before beginning, and care is coordinated with your prescribing provider and other involved professionals. Treatment typically involves several sessions, and it is important to approach the process with openness and trust. Safety guidance includes arranging transportation home after sessions and following your therapist's instructions during treatment. The initial intake or evaluation is $250 and individual psychotherapy sessions are $200. KAP specific costs, including any dosing session fee, are confirmed through the intake process. Please contact our intake team to confirm current availability, cost details, and whether this service is appropriate for you.

Common questions
Questions about this service.
What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?
It is a specialized approach that combines a ketamine experience, prescribed and managed by a medical provider, with psychotherapy before and after. The counseling side focuses on preparation, a supported experience, and integration of what comes up.
Is KAP right for everyone with depression or trauma?
No. KAP is not appropriate for everyone, and a clinician must determine whether it fits a person's circumstances and history. A website cannot decide eligibility. Intake can help assess fit.
Do I need a medical screening?
Yes. A medical screening with a prescribing provider is required before beginning, and care is coordinated with your prescribing provider and other involved professionals.
Does the practice prescribe or manage medication?
Ketamine is prescribed and managed by a medical provider, not by the counselors at this practice. This page describes the counseling side of the service only and is not medical advice or a medication recommendation.
How do I start?
